SUNY ESF Women Repeat as USCAA Track & Field National Champions
INDIANA, Pa. (April 25, 2026) … For the third year in a row, the SUNY-ESF Oaks took home top honors in the USCAA Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships totaling 182 points in the championships held at Indiana University-Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The Oaks outdistanced Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (148) and Maine-Fort Kent (113.5) in the 14-team event.
ACPHS did have a double winner in Amanda Salisbury who won the pole vault (2.10m) and set a record in the women’s high jump with a leap of 1.52m.
The other meet record set on Saturday was by Hannah Leininger of Penn State Schuylkill in the javelin with a toss of 35.91m.
Margaret Ryan was a double winner for SUNY-ESF winning in the 800 (2:26.5) and 1500 (4:59.9). Teammate Maura O’Brien was a double winner in the distance events winning both the 5000 (20:18.6) and 10,000 (44:58.7).
Grace Tanski took care of another distance event for SUNY-ESF winning the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 13:26.2, while Gabrielle McKenzie won the 400 meter hurdles in 1:11.1.
